Day 107 and counting! Yesterday I did very well with eating. I didn’t find myself as hungry as usual during work, and I was very happy that I wasn’t eating as frequently. When I got home from work, I did a few minutes of yoga to stretch out, 20 minutes of Pilates, and a few minutes of some extra ab exercises (nothing to brag about). I had plans to go out for a 5-mile run, but when I walked down the block to my normal starting point, I could feel these weird bursts of pain when I put pressure on my foot a certain way. They were really weird twinges that felt like lightning bolts traveling up my leg. I may have a small stress fracture in my foot. So, I turned around, walked back to the house, and hopped on Mary’s bike. I rode for 48 minutes and covered about 10 miles. I’m glad I was able to at least do something.
Today I’ve been logging what I’ve had so far and what my plans for Lunch are. I’m feeling a little hungrier today than I did yesterday, but I’m still trying to stick to 1,500 calories. When I get home I’m going to do yoga, pilates, my fitness ball DVD, and then attempt another 5-mile run. If I’m in pain, then I’m not going to go and I’ll skip the bike, too. I’m supposed to get my scale in the mail today! How pathetic am I that I’m actually unbelievably excited about it! I hope it works well. It’s a CVS brand digital scale, so hopefully it’s not too crappy and gives me an accurate weight. I’m expecting to weigh around 152. I’m also going to take all my measurements today too (height, weight, arms, thighs, calves, waist, hips, and chest). Then I am going to take measurements every 2 weeks from today (September 9th, September 23rd, October 7th, October 21st, November 4th, November 18th, December 2nd, December 16th, and December 30th [although I'll probably just take final measurements on Thursday, December 31st, since that's my goal day!]).

Regarding the cottage cheese, here’s a few ideas:
Try eating the 2% milkfat version. You can even buy it in little portioned cups. If you don’t like the taste it might be a little better, I personally can’t stand the nonfat version.
I know some people mix in garlic powder and sunflower seeds to make it a salty snack (not high sodium just salty tasting).
I personally recommend fresh pineapple. If you can’t cut a fresh whole one, stores typically sell the rings cut out of the pineapple, you can chop it into chunks yourself. The pineapple is usually so sweet that if you take a spoon of cottage cheese with a chunk of pineapple it goes down really well.
They also sell the cottage cheese with the fruit in a little container that you can mix yourself. These actually have less sugar than typical yogurts, but I personally don’t eat these because the fruit is too sugary. It may be better than your sugar-soaked strawberries, however, just some suggestions for you!!
Also, I would like to know where you got your fitness ball and DVD from. Obviously it’s working out for you, and I’ve been looking for one and wasn’t sure what kind to get.
I promise I will catch up on my blogs soon, but in the meantime it’s motivating me to see how organized you are with yours!!
