Today I woke up around 9am. I am pretty disappointed in myself for not working out yesterday. I’m even more disappointed that I managed to eat double of what I’d normally eat. The only positive thing from all this is that it’s good to “fuel up” a few days before a race. Granted, the foods I fueled up with were by no means healthy options and my race doesn’t really even require me to do anything extra in order to maintain energy while running. But, that’s my rationale. My rationale continues…

I made up my workout schedule for the rest of the month and my running schedule up until my race in December. All my “Rest” days fall on Fridays. So, yesterday could have been considered one of those days. The eating part was really just out of control.

Today is a new day though! It’s almost 12:30 and I already did yoga and my accelerated body sculting Pilates DVD (60 minutes), so I’m well on my way to meeting my workout goals. When I meet up with Lauren at the gym I plan to do extensive weight/strength training as well as run 3 miles on the treadmill. I’m not worried at all about meeting those goals.

Anyway, I’m going to make some coffee! I have a wicked caffeine headache.
